Streambox Partnership Enhancing Live Streaming Capabilities

Streambox Cloud is expanding with ENEX and in LATAM region with many Latin American Broadcasters able to receive live news contributions from ENEX. Streambox is  excited about growing its partnership with ENEX (European News Exchange) and BCE (Broadcasting Center Europe). Together, we are now deploying new live newsgathering capabilities to the ENEX Partner stations around the globe using an enhanced the NewsLink Platform with integrated Streambox Cloud software.

The roll-out of new Streambox Cloud video infrastructure allows ENEX Partners to more easily contribute and receive live news content through networked NewsLink devices. ENEX expects to provide more than 1600 live transmissions in 2016 as well as over 40,000 video items through the platform.

The Streambox Cloud integration allows ENEX Partners Worldwide to receive and contribute  low cost live video transmissions from the field, as they can now easily contribute to ENEX using mobile bonded cellular encoding  solutions like the Avenir Micro or from Streambox Software and hardware encoders. The Streambox Avenir Micro is a modular, stackable lightweight mobile video encoder capable of network bonding 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Ethernet & Internet connectivity at same time with higher video quality, HD & SD encoding capabilities  for live streaming. Designed for easy integration and outstanding lower bandwidth HD Video, Streambox encoders automatically select the best possible bandwidth, latency, and resolution over multiple bonded cellular networks. It is this world class solution that enables and streamlines network bandwidth fluctuations with reliable video transport over the Internet.

“In the past, global news contribution was complicated and expensive. With the Newslink Live Tab powered by Streambox, it has turned into something instant, easy, always available and almost costless“    – says Emilio Aranda, LATAM&EMEA Sales Manager at Streambox
This March, the Latin American Informative Alliance (AIL) Members have met at their tenth yearly Assembly to discuss the technical innovations available in the field of global news exchange. The assembly allows allies channels to join forces to cover major events worldwide, now, also through ENEX. Thanks to the Partnership between AIL and ENEX, the Members who share both platforms will be able to receive live content though the globally deployed NewsLink system integrated  with Streambox Cloud Service.
