Streambox® Inc. announced today support for Facebook Live Video API on its Video Cloud platform.The new stream routing workflow introduces support for Apple iOS and Android mobile devices including iPad to initiate a Facebook stream from the Streambox cloud.
Additionally Streambox users can enable Facebook 360 Live video posts with automatic detection of of 360 stitching for on-device or Cloud Stitching.
All streambox mobile and software is supported, such as Streambox Avenir Micro , Mini, Drone, Cloud and rackmount encoders. In addition to user’s timeline new workflow allows for posting to Facebook pages, event or groups.
Select ‘Go Live on Facebook’ on the ‘Actions’ menu of the desired video (left image above). Once Facebook stream has been initiated, the Facebook Live icon will be displayed (right image above).
Fill in the standard ‘Post live video on Facebook’ dialog. If you are streaming 360-video, check the ‘360° spherical’ option (see arrow). Click ‘Post live video’ button. That’s it! To learn more about Streambox Cloud click the button below.
