Streambox Promotes Mark Marchetti to Vice President of Federal Government and Department of Defense Sales

Marchetti Charged With Strategic Planning for Government Sales Effort

SEATTLE Feb. 24, 2010 — Streambox, Inc., today announced the promotion of Mark Marchetti to Vice President of Federal Government and Department of Defense Sales. With his promotion, Marchetti is charged with strategic planning both to support development of products that serve government agencies and to ensure that customers in that sector know the full extent of what Streambox has to offer.

“In government, and in particular the military, buyers have a no-nonsense attitude. If you can demonstrate how a product will help them achieve their mission, they want it,” Marchetti said. “With a platform for end-to-end aggregation, management, archiving, and distribution of video, Streambox has a unique story to tell. Our platform supports first responders getting their story back in a disaster, Homeland Security protecting our borders, and ground forces in combat theaters around the world. Streambox is making a difference, and that’s what I thrive on.”

Marchetti has been with Streambox since 2006, most recently serving as the director of sales for the government sector. In that capacity, he was instrumental in earning Streambox a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) contract to facilitate federal access to the company’s systems for easy and cost-effective contribution and distribution of video over IP networks.

Before joining Streambox, Marchetti worked in management positions at MCI and AT&T™. In his new position, he will divide his time between Washington, D.C., and Streambox’s headquarters in Seattle.
