Streambox Live featured in Broadcasting & Cable

In the latest installment of Broadcasting & Cable, writer Glen Dickson highlights Detroit affiliate WDIV’s innovative use of Streambox Live to deliver traffic and weather video during the winter storms that hit the mid west.  Mobile phones equipped with the free Streambox Live Software Encoder were mounted on the dash of 25 snow plow trucks and sent streaming video over 3G that was both played back live and archived for later broadcasts.
