DVIDS streams Mark Wahlberg’s visit to Afghanistan via Streambox

In this video, DVIDS uses a Streambox Hybrid HD/SD Software Encoder to send live footage of Mark Wahlberg visiting Marines at Camp Leatherneck to show them his new movie, “The Fighter.” The action star met with Maj. Gen. Richard Mills, signed autographs for Marines, spoke to Marines at a viewing at his movie, and visited with wounded Marines at the Camp Bastion Hospital. The footage was sent back to DVIDS headquarters in Atlanta, GA over a Norsat satellite connection of 2.5 Mbps where it was decoded on a Streambox 9300.
