Enterprise Server LE & XE Versions Available By End of Year

Managing substantial amounts of video streams simultaneously from the field can be a logistical challenge for broadcasters and other video-centric organizations. The Streambox Enterprise Server offers a turnkey software solution for managing and routing unlimited video streams to different or the same locations. The Enterprise Server is powered by the Streambox ACT-L3 proprietary codec allowing users to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and maximize their video contribution and distribution workflow.

Two versions of the Enterprise Server will be released to the complete platform of Streambox products by the end of the year. Organizations looking to deploy mobile encoders to all of their field reporters can use Enterprise Server Lite (LE) to manage their incoming streams. Organizations that require more advanced customization to their video management workflow can take advantage of the enhanced administration tools using Enterprise Server Extreme (XE).

Designed to operate seamlessly with the industry-leading Streambox platform of HD and SD broadcast-quality products, the Enterprise Server can acquire both live and file-based video content using Streambox mobile broadcasting encoders such as Avenir, StreamboxME iPhone/Android app, or the Streambox Live software encoder on a laptop using the Streambox Live Service. The Enterprise Server’s compatibility with the cloud-based Streambox Live Service enables organizations to deploy free encoding software for remote reporters to download on their laptops or as an app on their mobile phones. By distributing many encoders for little to no cost with Streambox Live, broadcasters are able to leverage IP networks and utilize the Enterprise Server in conjunction with Streambox Live to acquire the substantial amount of video content needed with low cost.
