AT&T recently launched its 4G LTE service in 11 new markets, now serving a total of 26 markets nationwide, covering 74 million users. This faster generation of technology offers the opportunity to leverage higher performance and richer content. This includes Streambox Live and Streambox Live Pro, which are both compatible with the AT&T 4G LTE network.

CTV used Streambox Live on an iPad 2 to stream live from the scene of a tragic accident on HWY400 in Toronto, Cananda. No trucks were allowed to drive North on the highway, but a CTV cameraman was nearby with the StreamboxME App installed on his iPad 2. He set up the iPad 2 and Vericorder XLR adapter cable and was able to do inteviews on-site with the Provincial Police to broadcast to CP24′s show.
