This faster generation of technology offers the opportunity to leverage higher performance and richer content. CTV used Streambox Live on an iPad 2 to stream live from the scene of a tragic accident on HWY400 in Toronto, Cananda. No trucks were allowed to drive North on the highway, but a CTV cameraman was nearby with the StreamboxME App installed on his iPad 2. He set up the iPad 2 and Vericorder XLR adapter cable and was able to do inteviews on-site with the Provincial Police to broadcast to CP24′s show.
