Capturing and sending live video from areas with poor cellular connections can propose difficult conditions for broadcasters or anyone wanting to acquire “on-the-scene” video. Typical problems that arise may be line of sight or long distances to cellular network towers, drop zones/dead zones of certain carriers, patchy connections, or an overall weak signal.
Overcoming these cellular obstacles is now easier with Avenir’s new enhanced Backpack Kit. The Avenir Backpack Kit boosts the performance of Avenir by broadening the range and strength of network signals in areas that usually are very difficult to broadcast from. For urban areas with sky-high buildings that interfere with a line of vision to a cell tower, the Avenir Backpack Kit has a Signal Extender that utilizes enhanced technology to always obtain the maximum signal possible.
