Read the latest issue of Sat Magazine to learn how CBC used Streambox to broadcast a reporters return from kidnapping in Somalia. Canadian freenlance reporter Amanda Lindhout was reporting on the confict in Somalia when they were taken captive by gunmen in August of 2008. Over one year later, in November of 2009, she was finally set to be released. CBC was on scene with a Streambox ACT-L3 Portable Video Transport Solution and sent over a BGAN satellite connection from Inmarsat.
