DVIDS uses Streambox to Send Live Video from Military Visit

Gen. James F. Amos and Sgt. Maj. Carlton Kent visit Marines and Sailors with Regimental Combat Team 2 on Dec. 25, 2010. DVIDS captured the event using a Streambox Software Encoder on a Macbook Pro. The stream was sent live over a Norsat Satellite Connection at 2.5 Mbps and was received at DVIDS headquarters in Atlanta, GA on a Streambox 9300 Decoder. With Streambox technology in place, DVIDS is able to conduct interviews over the satellite connection utilizing the Streambox IFB Server.
