This new feature will simplify the output of Streambox Live for European users and those who reside in other PAL countries. Previously, users could only capture video in NTSC, creating the need for non NTSC users to convert to PAL output. By adding the opportunity to capture video in PAL, users will get better frame rate and resolution, while eliminating the need for format conversion.

Romero, the youngest person ever to attempt and reach the summit of the world’s highest peak, used the service to send up-to-the-minute, high-quality video reports of his progress from various locations on the mountain — one of which was included in CNN’s broadcast coverage of the expedition.
