At the 2011 Inmarsat Americas Partner Conference in Miami, Streambox Live was awarded the Most Effective Land-Mobile Solution Award. Streambox was given this award for driving growth by enabling Inmarsat Partners to offer the full suite of Inmarsat streaming services and reduce initial outlay on solution equipment and airtime.
Streambox Live Available Free to Broadcasters Covering Relay to Help Wounded Soldiers

Streambox® Inc. today announced it will provide free Streambox Live™ service to any broadcaster for coverage of The Gumpathon, a 3,530-mile relay to raise money for organizations that help severely wounded soldiers recover. The run kicked off on Sept. 10 in Manhattan and will conclude on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, in Santa Monica, Calif.

Streambox Attending Inmarsat Government Services Conference July 14-15

At the conference, Streambox will be discussing applications of Streambox Live and its ability stream live video over the low bandwidth of mobile satellites. Streambox will be collaborating with Inmarsat Distribution Partners who bundle the Streambox Live Service and host the Streambox Live Servers on their networks. This partnership gives their government users full access to Streambox Live and it’s free encoder software. Users will now have a reliable and efficient way to bring live video streams from the field back to the broadcast or data centers.
