Now, once the Local button is pushed on an incoming live stream, the video is automatically routed directly to their Streambox Media Player for viewing, with no manual input needed. Local Play creates a simpler and faster way for users to play live streams on their desktop.

The Streambox Team is continuously adding new features to improve Streambox Live and make the service more beneficial to our users. Recently, Streambox has added GPS geo tagging. Mobile devices with a GPS receiver will automatically transmit current GPS coordinates, if the user allows it, along with the encoder’s metadata.

The Streambox Team is constantly working to ensure Streambox Live has the best quality for our users. After listening to feedback from customers, we have recently made updates to the Streambox Live presets. These new presets will meet the performance, quality and latency requirements that will enhance the Streambox Live user experience.
