Software Development Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer with a strong background in product development, design, and bringing new products to market. You will work closely with the development team and be able to contribute directly to the quality and success of the Streambox product line. The ideal candidate is able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform OS related development (for XPe, Linux, etc.)
• Support and coordinate product IP protection/activation
• Develop mechanical, electrical and electronic design
• Conduct product testing and certification with 3rd party labs
• Liaise with other departments for end user and manufacturing documentation
• Create guidelines for product service, support, and disposal

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years experience with C/C++, TCP/IP, Mac OS
• Experience with Windows XPe, Linux
• Experience with Assembler, HTML, AJAX a plus
• Experience with or understanding of professional/digital video a plus
• Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and products
