We are looking for an experienced Senior Development Engineer with a strong background in product development, design, and bringing new products to market. You will work closely with the development team and be able to contribute directly to the quality and success of the Streambox product line. The ideal candidate is able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment with internal and external stakeholders.

Developer Responsibilities:
• Porting, implementing, and debugging ACT-L3 video codec to hardware and software Encoders and Decoders to embedded systems, DSP, mobile platforms: iOS and Android
• Optimizing ACT-L3 codec on DSP, embedded devices and mobile platforms
• Implementing encryption in ACT-L3 codec
• Development of ACTL3 and QuickTime video based video file editing and archiving solutions on Windows OS, iOS, and Android
• Networking implementation in Encoders, Decoders and file based systems in utilizing TCP, UDP, & LDMP networking technologies
• Server based ACT-L3 files based solution development, maintenance and improvements
• Multi-file format video playout from decoder/media station

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
• Master's Degree in Computer Science and 3 years experience in video CODEC development, DSP programming, C++, objective-c., and PHP
• Experience in embedded Windows OS, Linux and OSX
• Advanced working knowledge of TCP, UDP and LDMP networking
• Advanced working knowledge of ACT-L3 codec and advantages over other codecs
• Advanced working knowledge of the latest block and stream ciphers
