IP as low as 1.5 Mbps
SEATTLE, WA August 24, 2004 — Streambox Inc., the leader of video compression and real-time video solutions for broadcasting and cable, announces that the 4:2:2 color sampling is now an included option with ACT-L3™ 5000 & 7000 Encoders.
The ACT-L3™ 4:2:2 option provides twice more color information with greater color accuracy in a video signal.
The ACT-L3™ 4:2:2 real-time video compression achieves high-quality SD video, with more realistic and natural looking images than MPEG-4 4:2:0 systems. With ACT-L3™ 4:2:2 support, Streambox encoders provide twice the vertical chroma sampling for truer, richer color resolution.
