The Streambox Distribution Server is a video management system that allows users to route video streams from multiple encoders to multiple decoders, monitors, and locations. The system allows control room operators to automate and group incoming video streams using a web interface to determine where they should be routed. Metadata from the encoders informs the operator which reporter is sending the video, the location of the video being filmed, and affiliation of the video.
The Distribution Server can be used for Multi-Site Video Worship, Broadcast, and Sports and Events. The system allows users to manage, automate and group Streambox Encoders and Decoders for optimized video distribution.
