Our value proposition of performance, reliability, and unrivaled video quality over low data rate IP networks are key differentiators for Streambox customers in fields as diverse as newsgathering, emergency response, and distance learning.

Houses of worship share many of the same requirements for video transport and acquisition as our broadcast and government clientele and they are increasingly tapping Streambox for interactive video worship capabilities. Customers tell us that our live and file-based solutions facilitate an enhanced worship experience for their congregations.

As congregations grow, and possibly outgrow their facilities, houses of worship have a variety of video technology options available to them as they build community and extend their reach.

Learn more about these options in the contributed articles and podcast below:

Scenario 1 - Point-to-Point Video Transport

This scenario is very useful when the church lacks space for the entire congregation at its main facility. It enables the primary campus to be sending video while a secondary site is receiving. The secondary site could be down the hall, across town, or even in another state or country.

Scenario 2 - Point-to-Point Video Transport: Enhanced Flexibility

Some churches may want to send video from campus (A) one week and from campus (B) the next. This would be especially relevant if one pastor is responsible for services at both campuses on alternating weeks or if the church invites visiting pastors to its campuses.

*) A Streambox system composed of two encoders enables the second encoder to be configured as a decoder and reset in encoder mode as worship services require.

Scenario 3 - Point-to-Multipoint Video Transport

In this scenario, video from the main campus is delivered to a number of satellite campuses over a multicast network. It enables a pastor at the main site to deliver his message to congregations at other church locations around the region or the country.

Scenario 4 - Interactive Video Worship

Streambox solutions enable two churches to be linked through a simultaneous, bidirectional flow of video and audio. Key elements are low latency, high quality real-time video that can be played out seamlessly without any technical glitches, even when the video is delivered to an 18-20 ft. theater style screen and accompanied by live music at both locations.
