Ship to Shore
Streaming video over IP enables navy personnel to quickly capture, encode, and
stream live and file-based video of ‘at sea’ events to other navy vessels and central
command centers for analysis and assessment. Mobility and agility are vital in the Navy’s
communication of pertinent intelligence between a variety of battleships, frigates, aircraft
carriers and on-shore command centers.
Streambox offers an effective way to utilize streaming video over IP to monitor
and analyze the success of joint allied navy exercises, including ballistic missile launches
from battleships. Our IP-centric video technology is used during in-theater naval
maneuvers and bombing missions by navy fighter planes. Additionally, our solutions
allow live video to stream from ongoing missions to command centers on-shore. This
helps navy commanders allocate resources to the theater of operations, while sharing
intelligence with other branches of the Department of Defense. |
