ACT-L2 encoding can now be done using your favorite video editor
March 1, 2002 Seattle , WA – Streambox Inc. recently released ACT-L2™ advanced compression video codec can now be used with many off-the-shelf video editing applications. The new ACT-L2 plug-in is compatible with Discreet Cleaner™, Adobe Premiere™, Apple QuickTime Pro™ and other applications.
ACT-L2 compresses video streams up to DVD resolution and frame rate, at rates that are sub-megabit. ACT-L2 now makes it possible to serve up movies and other high quality content over standard broadband connections such as dsl and cable modem.
