Streambox Announces Jigsaw24 as Strategic Business Partner for the United Kingdom

Also, complete end-to-end workflows specifically tuned to the needs of broadcasters and other streaming professionals are enabled by Streambox. An initial cooperative venture will be a post-production customer event hosted by Jigasw24 on September 20 at their offices at 8 Golden Square, W1F 9HY. Streambox will give presentations and demonstrate the Chroma advanced encoder/decoder with 4K 12-bit 4:4:4 RGB video including Dolby Vision and HDR workflows with Resolve workstations. HD/Rec 709 12 bit 4:4:4 and 16 Channels of uncompressed audio for Dolby Atmos workflows with Chroma will also be demonstrated.

The latest Chroma enhancements include:
  • Optimized ACT-Level 5 codec that supports 4K DCI resolution and 12-bit, 4:4:4 RGB/ XYZ color, and is compatible with existing ACT-Level 3 codec.
  • QUAD SDI I/O hardware to support Quad/Dual link for 12G, 6G, 3G or 1.5G interfaces that permit facilities to use existing infrastructures
  • HDR, HDR+ and DolbyVision compatibility
  • 3D video support
  • Up to 16-channel uncompressed PCM audio
  • Support for higher bitrates up to 120Mbps
  • 64-bit OS with 20% performance improvements
Live streaming workflows can be remotely deployed with Streambox Cloud Services. Users can employ a project-based solution which is easily scalable by adding cloud, desktop or mobile encoders, and desktop or mobile media players as needed. Cloud-based services from Streambox offer dependable transport on a global basis with a specialized protocol providing intelligent utilization of available network paths to achieve higher rates of transport and real-time collaboration.
