Streambox Chroma and Chroma X advanced encoder/decoder systems are ideal for critical 4K, UHD, and HD contribution. Native support for 12-bit 4:4:4 RGB color makes them a perfect match for Dolby Vision™, HDR-10, and HDR10+ workflows. 16-channel uncompressed audio also makes Chroma suitable for projects incorporating Dolby ATMOS. Chroma can provide digital video metadata drop off from a remote location to a Dolby CMU or offers HDMI tunneling directly to digital video monitors. This functionality makes Chroma the only live review solution in the industry that addresses the need for both HDR/Dolby Vision video and Dolby ATMOS. With support for up to 16 audio channels, Chroma is the right fit for productions with Dolby ATMOS and integration with audio applications such as Avid Pro Tools.
In 2019, Streambox released the new Annotations feature in Streambox Chroma, which provides a flexible method for group review of video content. Mark-ups can be made on images in real-time so multiple connected stakeholders can provide feedback via a web interface working on the same project. Annotations is a valuable tool for colorists, editors, and other production staff.
