Chroma X supports advanced codecs providing HDR and wide color gamut integrated with reliable LDMP video transport technology that simplifies streaming live video over wired and wireless Internet and MPLS networks. Chroma X offers high-quality video streaming and contribution for post-production, broadcast, and enterprise media organizations.

Chroma X includes many compelling post-production capabilities features including a wide color gamut, HDR, up to 12-bit 4:4:4 RGB/XYZ color, and encryption. Chroma X also supports Dolby Vision metadata, CMU support, and HDMI tunneling output. A low monthly rental cost of $500.00 includes 6 TB of Cloud data with software media players and encryption at no extra cost.

Streambox is introducing two new valuable capabilities usable with Chroma systems

Sessions is a simple and cost-effective way to connect media professionals who require remote, real-time collaboration of high quality, color-rich, content across multiple locations without reviewers needing a Cloud account or needing to connect with Streambox Cloud directly. Annotations is meant for live video review where one or more of the reviewers can highlight the area of interest while describing the desired changes. All the markups can be burned to the image and archived with a save screenshot feature that includes time-stamped file names.

Multiple stakeholders can be connected to a Chroma encoder system acting as an annotations server via a web interface to work on the same project. Mobile Media Player has recently been released and is available in the Apple store. This app supports ten programmable video channels designed to integrate with other Streambox components for cost-effective viewing of high-quality video on iPads and iPhones in real-time.
