About Spectra VM


Introduction

Streambox Spectra for AWS-CDI provides an encoder/decoder instance for low latency, zone-to-zone, workflows that support HD to 4K, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4, 10 and 12-bit streams with AES encryption via AWS Elemental and Interactive Video Services or Streambox Cloud Services (AWS). The Spectra VM is compatible with third party CDI senders and receivers for real-time Broadcast and Postproduction workflows.

Getting Started

  1. Deploy Streambox Spectra VM on EC2 Note: you will use VPC values used for the primary editor app (e.g., Autodesk Flame). See Launch CloudFormation section below
  2. Obtain Hardware ID for activation. See Feature Activation section below
  3. Obtain Trial or Commercial License (activation code)Contact Sales (if you are new) or Support (if you have an account).You will need to provide Hardware ID from step 3
  4. Activate your Spectra VM with license from Step 4. See Feature Activation section below.

You are now ready to use Streambox Spectra VM…

Log In to Spectra

  • Username: administrator
  • Password: {use Instance ID}
  • This will open the Streambox Dashboard (see below)
  • You may need to Activate features. See Feature Activation in Appendix
